Some spoilers underneath as well. Also got some previews of upcoming shows. Remember to email me your TV questions here. So onto your questions:

Samantha asks: Is it true the strike is over? -Well the major tv studios and the WGA have finished a deal that they presented to the writers today. An update and end to the strike is expected any time, and it is rumored work could resume on shows on Monday.

Carl asks: Will Moonlight be coming back this season or next? -Neither has been confirmed. New episodes this season has more or less been confirmed as not happening. And although the show had solid ratings, the second season order hasn't been officially confirmed, but I think it will be back.

David asks: When is Dirt coming back? -Season two begins on March 2nd. But because of the strike it will be a shortened 7 episode season. Another FX show, The Riches, will also be back on March 10th, again for a shortened 7 episode second season. And the Shields 7th and final season will begin its 13 episode run on April 3rd.

Breann asks: I LOVE Eli Stone. How is it doing in the ratings? Do you think it will be renewed?-Only two episodes have aired so talk of a second season is a little early. Episode 1 scored a solid post Lost 11.63 million viewers. Episode two dropped to 8.83 million, but it scored a 3.3/9 in the 18-49 Rating/Share demo, which is pretty good. If it holds on to its episode two numbers I think Eli will be back for a second season.

Michel asks: Any more Bones this year? Yes. And I can't wait. Fox cleverly held onto 3 episodes airing from April 28th. They are The Baby In The Bough, The Man In The Mud, and The Wannabe in the Weeds, which has a pretty amazing cliffhanger. In May we'll also see The Player Under Pressure episode, about the high school shooting which was pulled last year. The episode has been tweaked to remove scenes with Angela and Hodgins removed, as they involved the couple prior to their engagement.

Spoilers

Skins -Well big spoiler in the fact that Tony is indeed alive. After getting together with Sid, Cassie's family take her to Scotland, tearing apart the shows most tormented couple, and Anwar has a girlfriend he is keeping secret.

Supernatural -The final pre-strike episode, Jus In Bello, airing on February 21st could serve as a good season finale. The CW tell us Sam and Dean break into Bela's (Lauren Cohan) apartment in order to get the Colt back, but she has tipped off Agent Henricksen (guest star C. Malik Whitfield) about their whereabouts and they are arrested. While Sam and Dean are locked in a cell in Colorado, a demon breaks in and kills some of the sheriff's men and possesses Henricksen. After the guys vanquish the demon, the FBI agent realizes they were telling the truth and prepares to release them, but Ruby (guest star Katie Cassidy) shows up to a warn Sam and Dean that the jailhouse is surrounded by a band of demons with a powerful new leader who wants Sam dead.

Smallville -On next weeks episode, Fracture, Lois follows Lex to Detroit and discovers he has found Kara, who has amnesia. Finley (guest star Corey Sevier), a busboy who is obsessed with Kara, fears Lex will take her away, so he shoots Lex and holds Kara and Lois captive. After Lex's comatose body is found, Chloe offers to heal him, but Clark refuses to let her.

Prison Break -In the final pre-strike episode, The Art of the Deal, and mid season finale, Michael & Lincoln must handover Whistler to Susan so they can save LJ and Sofia's lives; Mahone seizes a golden opportunity; T-Bag shows Sona who's boss; a familiar face enters Sona as another leaves it in a body bag..

Lost -Coming up in Lost, Locke's hostage may be the key to getting off the island, so Sayid and Kate go in search of their fellow castaway in an attempt to negotiate a peaceful deal. And Kate's need to get information out of the hostage may jeopardize her standing with Locke -- as well as with Sawyer.

Jericho -February 12th sees the return of Jericho. And this season (seven episodes) When the Cheyenne government puts an end to the battle between Jericho and New Bern, Major Beck leads the reconstruction efforts to restore Jericho's electrical power and communication with the outside world. Some spoilers underneath as well. Also got some previews of upcoming shows. Remember to email me your TV questions here. So onto your questions:

Chris asks: Because of the strike will there be loads of reality shows filling up my tv? -It's true the networks have reality shows being produced, most would have aired anyway, but some have been brought forward to cover the strike, and so networks can keep new episodes of scripted shows to spread out throughout the strike. The Celebrity Apprentice starts on NBC January 3rd at 9pm, and with it's cast (Lennox Lewis, Trace Adkins, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci, Carol Alt, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Nely Galan, Marilu Henner, Piers Morgan, Omarosa, Tito Ortiz, Vincent Pastore and Gene Simmons) it looks set to be car crash tv. December 12th on the CW sees the launch of Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants, Carson Kressley (Queer Eye), former Miss U.S.A. Shanna Moakler, Cynthia Garrett judge a "no holds barred" pageant pitting mother and daughter teams against each other. Of course we have the new season of Project Runway airing on Bravo on Wednesdays, and the first quarter of 2008 will see the new Randy Jackson show airing on MTV. He will be seeking out the best new hip-hop dance crew.

India asks: Is it true NBC is cancelling Journyman? I hope not, it's the best new show on tv -I had most emails this month from Journeyman fans. It seems the ratings don't reflect this shows popularity. Apparently though NBC isn't looking at DVR ratings, just the live shows, and as they advertise free airings on nbc.com, it's not surprising the show has a big viewerbase online. This is mind, no official cancellation order has been made, and insiders say NBC has been keeping an eye on ratings, specifically the last episode aired, and the upcoming "Blowback" episodes to see if ratings improve. If you are interested, ratings didn't to up on the last episode aired, "Emily", viewers actually went down from 6.08 million to 5.75 million. It's 18-49 share remained stable though at a 6. If you know a fan, tell them if they want to save this show they need to watch the next episode live on NBC, this Monday 10pm/9c.

Michael Schofield's Wife asks: Any news on the new fast forwarded One Tree Hill? -Not much in the way of spoilers, but when the show comes back in January our main guys will all be at college graduating age, and it's not confirmed who graduates and who doesn't, but not all our guys will be on a smooth path into adulthood. Also throughout the season we will be getting flashbacks to some of the missing four years, sometimes it will flashback scenes in episodes and sometimes we will be treated to a full episode covering a period in the missing years.

Joseph asks: I loved Greek on ABCFamily, will the strike affect a new season? -The show has 8 shows ready to go into production for airing next year (March) out of the 10. But episode 8 could also serve as the finale, so it looks like you'll be more than happy with season 2.

Richard asks: Do you answer questions about UK shows? If so, do you have any news on the new series of Skins?-Well series 2 start in February, back on E4. And I also got spoilers down below in the spoilers section, read if you dare..

Marcus James asks: I am loving the current season of Dexter, has it been renewed for a third season?-No official word as yet, but as the last episode drew in Showtime's biggest audience ever for a single airing (1.23 million viewers) a third season seems likely..

Spoilers

Skins -Well big spoiler in the fact that Tony is indeed alive. After getting together with Sid, Cassie's family take her to Scotland, tearing apart the shows most tormented couple, and Anwar has a girlfriend he is keeping secret.

Heroes -The December 3rd episode "Powerless" is the finale to the Generations chapter of Heroes. NBC tell us "Deep below Primatech Paper in Odessa, TX, Peter's reunion with Nathan turns violent when the brothers, Matt and Hiro all clash thanks to Adam and his pursuit of the deadly Shanti Virus. After watching his heroic cousin captured by a street gang, Micah turns to the one person who can help him save Monica -- his mom. Meanwhile, Maya tragically learns how much of a monster Sylar really is during his kidnapping of Molly and Suresh. Meanwhile, Elle decides to play hero to get back into her father's good graces."

Prison Break -January sees a lot more action in Prison Break. Fox tell us "After raising the suspicions of the Panamanian Army, Michael experiences solitary Sona style. Bellick has the fight of his life and Susan sets her sights on Sucre as T-Bag schemes his way into the escape. When Lechero loses his authority over Sona, Sammy causes Michael's escape plan to come crashing down; T-Bag pressures Bellick to one more fight - that will likely be his last; Lincoln and Sucre plan an explosive finish for Susan.

Las Vegas -On November 30th in the episode "The High Price of Gas" the effects of the robbery are not only being felt at the Montecito, but all over Las Vegas. Danny tries to fend off all the federal agencies' accusations about his uncle's involvement, but all clues seem to point to him. Delinda has a solution that could help the casinos cash flow problem -- getting Cooper and Sam to apologize to each other. Meanwhile, Piper and Mike are helping a woman carry out her deceased husband's unconventional last wishes.

Bones -November 27th sees our last Bones of 2007. "The body of a man with a white beard and a tailor-made Santa costume is discovered in the sewer near a D.C. mall just three days before Christmas. As the team gathers forensic evidence, the victim seems to match the legend more closely each step of the way. Booth and Brennan discover the man, whose legal name was Kristopher Kringle, was a well respected Santa Claus impersonator, employed by a local "Rent-A-Santa" business. When Booth and Brennan inspect Kris' apartment, not only do they find his place decked out with holiday cheer, but they also find thousands of dollars stashed in a dresser drawer. As Christmas Day approaches, the Jeffersonian team works to find out who would have wanted this true-to-myth Santa dead. Meanwhile, Brennan visits her father in jail and plots a not-so-traditional Christmas reunion, and Booth and Brennan find themselves in close quarters with the mistletoe just overhead."

Desperate Housewives -December 2nd is our 2007 Housewives finale, and in the most elaborate episode ever produced in the history of the series, the residents of Wisteria Lane are forced into basements, cellars and safe rooms to weather a tornado that destroys homes and lives forever. And word has it two Wisteria Lane residents wont make it out alive, one being a Housewives hubby.

Bionic Woman -NBC tell us on November 28th, Jaime's (Michelle Ryan) much-needed vacation with her sister Becca (Lucy Kate Hale) at a spa resort is quickly disrupted when she is pulled into a deadly cat and mouse game with another hotel guest.

Preview of Heroes episode 2x10 Truth & Consequences. This may seem big but this equates to $250 paid for the repeat options for a year on an hour long program, compared to $20,000 currently paid for the same show repeated on TV.

27 Nov 2007 - Journeymans final episode will air
Fears of Journeymans last episode of the season and possible series being shelved have been scuppered after NBC announced it will air the season's thirteenth and final episode "Perfidia" on December 19th. This means the final three episodes will air December 10th ("Home By Another Way", episode 11), December 17th ("The Hanged Man", episode 12), and December 19th ("Perfidia", episode 13). The previous episode aired, "Blowback" which aired November 26th, saw a small rise in ratings, from 5.75 to 6.21 million viewers, and with ratings falling, could the fans be working hard to keep this show on air?

26 Nov 2007 - Chuck and Life get full seasons
Both NBC shows have been given the back order of 9 giving them both full seasons, giving Bionic Woman and JOurneymans future looking bleaker.

21 Nov 2007 - One Tree Hill Gets Return Date
One Tree Hill has been given a return date of January 8th 2008, when the show jumps forward four years.

18 Nov 2007 - Dirty, Sexy Money Given Full Season
As long as the strike comes to some sort of conclusion, ABC has given a back order of 9 episodes of Dirty, Sexy Money, bringing a total of 22 episodes. Some spoilers underneath as well. And I have eventhrown not one, but TWO previews of the upcoming Sci-Fi original, Battlestar Galactica: Razor. Remember to email me your TV questions here. So onto your questions:

Alison asks:
Is there any chance of Sara returning on Prison Break?
-I think that ship has pretty much sailed, even if this is Prison Break. Fans have been (rightly) outraged by Sara's exit, and you can't help but be really pissed off at the show and Sarah Wayne Callies for not working out some way to keep Sara. Especially when we have invested two years in Michael and Sara's troubled relationship. Executive producer Nick Santora does promise though "Michael Schofield is going to do things you never imagined he could do. It is going to flip a switch." What that means is anyone's guess, but now Michael has nothing to lose, so I have high hopes the powers that be wont let us down.

Mark D asks:
What shows have been given full season orders so far, and what has been
cancelled?
-It's too early for cancellations, remembering we're not counting reality shows, so Nashville and CWs Online Nation don't count. I think we have to be worried about Bionic Woman though, after keeping steady with last weeks show, this week BW lost two million viewers, which is not good. And I do think this show still needs to find its feet, I have never willed a show to do well this season as much as I have willed BW. As for full season pickups, so far we have Gossip Girl, Private Practice, The Unit, and Big Bang Theory, all picked up. Now we need the networks to show some full season love for Pushing Daisies, Damages, Reaper, and Life.

Eva asks:
Sites seem to have two more episodes of The Closer for season 3 yet to
air. Where are they?
-Firstly, bit of new, TNT has (unsurprisingly) renewed The Closer for a fifteen episodes fourth season. As for episodes 14 and 15 (Next Of Kin Parts 1 & 2), these will air in a two hour slot 8pm on December 3rd. The episodes revolve around the team hunting for the victim of a shooting, and as they track him down the case turns a lot more interesting..

Seeva asks:
Will all of this seasons Office been 1 hour episodes? It's just not the
same.
-A lot of people agree with you. It seems the trademark Office comedy style isn't translating well in regular 1 hour episodes. The episodes seem strained, and you'll be pleased to know that this weeks episodes was the fourth and final 1 hour episodes this season. Well, aside from two more, which will follow in the tradition of the last few seasons 1 hour bumper episodes, and will be spread out over the rest of the season. Next week, we're back to 30 minutes of comedy gold
(we hope).

Mark asks:
I know they have only just started in the US, but do you know when Sky
One is showing new Bones and Cold Case?
-You'll be pleased to know you don't have to wait that long. These shows do good business for Sky One, so Sky are always eager to get these shows airing as soon as possible. November 8th sees season 3 of Bones start at 9pm. Season 5 of Cold Case starts Wednesday 14th November, also at 9pm. If you are wondering about any other US shows start dates in the UK, I can tell you: Season 3 of Beauty and the Geek starts October 29th on E4, Journeyman starts November 8th (Monday) at 10pm, season 2 of the Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency started October 23rd on Living2. It's been cancelled in the US, but sitcom, The Class starts at 6pm, October 20th on E4. Hope that keeps you going.

Spoilers

Reaper
-Ben's grandmother comes to visit in episode 8, and seems to know all about Sam's "secret".

Heroes
-Episode seven see's West discover exactly who Claire's father is. Bob, Nikki, Nathan, Suresh and Matt team up to fight the "nightmare man". Kristen Bell appears in Mondays episode, Fight or Flight. She'll play Elle, and play a big part in Peter's Irish adventure. In episode 8, titles Four Months Ago, Hiro and Ando will be reunited, and will tell us what happened between the season 1 finale and season 2 opening episode. Co exec. producer and writer Jeph Loeb said "For the returning fans, episode eight fills in the gaps... Hopefully, by that time, everyone will be into this mystery. When we get to the middle of November, everyone will be completely filled in and we'll move forward."

Supernatural
-November 1st episode, Bedtime Stories, looks set to be a crapyourself-tastic! The boys travel to a town where some of the locals are being killed fairy tale style. Apparently Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel make an appearance!

NCIS
-October 30th sees the 100th episode of NCIS. Entitled Chimera, the episode sees the team investigate the murder of a worker aboard a top secret Naval research lab, and promises to be an emotional episode. We're told Gibb's will open up in this episode and reveal some secrets from his past.

Preview of Battlestar Galactica: Razor. Airing on Sci-Fi November 24th.

That's it for now. I hope to cover drama, comedy, musical (if Viva Laughlin survives), even a bit of soap.

So give me a few days to watch some stuff and I'll post back soon...

This blog will also replace the TV doctor board at TV Central, the place you ask all your TV questions.
